Launch Points
- Because all the beaches along the coast have publicly
maintained access trails, one could potentially launch from
anywhere. However depending on the surf, it could be difficult
to get past the breakers and some of the access trails are
fairly steep. With these factors in mind we compiled the
list to the right.
Russian River
- The Russian River is a beautiful river and wonderful for
kayaking or canoeing. It is also close to the Bodega Bay
area. The mouth of the Russian River is 10 miles up the
coast from Bodega Bay in the town of Jenner. Several businesses
do trips with arranged pickup locations and bus or truck
service.
